free press release pr web services

Aly Walansky writes for the Today show website, Food and Wine magazine, AskMen and many other media outlets you’ve heard of. When I asked her when the last time she went through the releases that get sent to her via the press release distribution services, and then actually covered one of them, her response was telling:
Not from press releases pickups – there’s a difference between these copy/paste press release pickups and real news coverage. If it’s organic, unique media coverage as a result of the press release (but not just a rerun of the press release itself) the backlinks will likely help your overall SEO.
http://www.PressReleasePoint.com/ has started a exciting free service for submitting to free PR websites. Yes it is free to submit press release to 20 free PR websites. We hope that some of your readers will find this service useful. We request you to convey this message to your readers. Perhaps you can add this as a foot note to this blog post.
When it comes to content, sometimes old school can be a good thing (namely, when it comes to old school rap or Throwback Thursday on Instagram). But when it comes to your company’s public relations strategy, being old school isn’t advantageous for your business or your brand.
If your label has a logo, make sure that’s prominent at the top of the page, along with a band logo if you have one. Make sure the contact person’s info is bolded and easy to find just below that opening headline.
Craft each release to target a specific media outlet and send it to the specific reporter who covers that beat. This information can usually be found on the outlet’s website. Blasting the identical press release to multiple outlets and multiple reporters at the same outlet is a sign that you are taking shortcuts rather than targeting a specific market.
After hosting The Bootsy Collins Players Ball Hi-On-Heels House Party and Video Shoot, deemed one of the flyest Hollywood affairs on Grammy Night, Kevin Rouse and his Rouse House Entertainment have announced a 2018-line up of events designed to keep…
Hello. Although I personally reckon this post is a bit prescriptive (I prefer devs to just say Hey, I’ve made a NEW THING! Here it is!, there are some good tips regarding content to possibly include. (Just, y’know, avoid doing the robot thing. I get 50+ PRs on a good a day (on a bad day, I get more), and many of them look identical in structure and that’s a FIVE-ALARM WARNING to bin every one of the things.) In terms of format, though, speaking as a journo, sending me a Word document is a really great way to get me to immediately delete your PR. Send the text in the *body* of the email, so I can easily access and search it later. Do not make me load up some other app or even fire up Quick Look to view your copy. (Also, a *huge* number of devs I know don’t use Word these days, threatening any fancy formatting. PDF’s fine for an online press kit, though—no problems copying and pasting from it, assuming you’ve done the PDF right.) And I’m sure this sounds grumpy as hell, but when you’re bombarded by email, you need to be able to filter things very quickly. These free release services often serve as an excellent learning opportunity to discover how to hone your writing and distribution techniques and ensure that, once you do move to a paid distribution option, you will have mastered the art of structuring and writing a press release.
Don’t send large bulk emails. Some channels don’t want any email attachments or accept press releases only via their website. Find out about their preferences and send either individual emails or BCC’ed emails to small groups with similar requirements. When approaching a content producer individually, let them know that you’ve actually read or watched their work and understand the subjects they cover. Be genuine, not a suck-up.
Thanks for the great post. This is where many small businesses are missing out. They fail to understand that with a PR release they are losing out on the opportunity to create a web footprint which is capable of generating business from any location around the world.
Since the 1960s, the major agencies were provided with new opportunities in television and magazine, and news agencies delivered specialized production of images and photos, the demand for which is constantly increasing. In France, for example, they account for over two-thirds of national market.[7]
There is a lot of debate whether or not press releases are worthwhile for new and upcoming ecommerce merchants anymore. We have heard good arguments on both sides, and to be perfectly honest, for most online store owners it’s one of those tactics that could be a hit or miss, but if it hits, it could result in a major press launch for your brand. For example, BeardBrand launched their store and never looked back literally the day an article about beard grooming for men mentioned them and was published in the New York Times.
Aside from the cost of having the press release written, you’re spending nothing else if you’re using one of the free press release services, yet there’s the potential to benefit from the extensive exposure.
Of course, we’re all familiar with the traditional distribution levers we can pull, which include publishing the press release on our website/blog, as well as sharing the press release with our followers/subscribers via social media and email. But for ensuring a press release gets the maximum amount of distribution possible, here are some tips you can follow.
Thanks for including http://www.prnewswire.com on your list of best press release sites. We’re very glad that we topped the list! I do have one important clarification, however. We have many, many press release distribution options that start at far less than $1000, and still include our huge online distribution network. Our team are to talk through the options for reaching key audiences and hitting your objectives – while staying within your budget, even if you only have a few hundred dollars to spend. Thanks!
The reporter isn’t interested in helping you make money or driving visitors to your site. He’s looking for a story that will be interesting to his readers and pleasing to his editor. He could care less about your great selection, super customer service and commitment to quality. He wants to know only the info that will help him craft a good story about teens and their weight.
In the traditional distribution model, the business, political campaign, or other entity releasing information to the media hires a publicity agency to write and distribute written information to the newswires.[6] The newswire then disseminates the information as it is received or as investigated by a journalist.
Deal with actual facts –– events, products, services, people, targets, goals, plans, projects. Try to provide maximum use of concrete facts. This is news. A simple method for writing an effective press release is to make a list of following clarifications: Who, what, when, where, why, and how.
7.  Create a document that keeps track of everywhere you posted your press release, and all of the sites who wrote about your freemium. Create an ongoing press list from this so that you can focus your efforts more effectively the next time.
So if I (or a professional) would write the story myself to be unique and stunning and etc, and it would be distributed to some hundreds of pages, then it would make a SEO effect or not, in your opinion?
Be as concise as humanly possible so that you’re able to give readers a meaty chunk of what they’re about to eat without giving away all of the ingredients. From there, the paragraphs that follow should work like an inverted pyramid – expanding on the bullet points you’ve touched upon in your first line with bigger (but non-essential) facts. This is the time to present products specs or a few quirky tidbits from your survey. As you progress, try to keep your language snappy and mildly objective – because nobody wants to eat a dry piece of toast.
Annie Jennings: This site has a wide range of media testimonials, although it is light on detail of exactly what you will get for your money, or even how much money you will be required to part with.  The unique angle to this service seems to be a focus on connecting authors with media opportunities, such as TV and radio appearances.

Now, however, thanks to the rise of digital marketing and, more specifically, free press release websites, businesses, brands, and even individuals submit press releases for different purposes. Yes, exposure is still part of it, but so are other factors such as SEO.
Once you’ve set the scene, it’s time to bring your details to life with a quote that reporters can use for context around your announcement and help paint a picture of how your news affects the given industry, customer base, and landscape.
