To keep yourself honest on this front, ask a friend or colleague to read the release without context and ask if they can easily and readily explain why the announcement matters, what your company does, and why the executives included are quoted. To write a press release template you have to write various details regarding the matter for which you want the press release in a particular order. I paid the extra fees for wider distribution and hyperlinks. (not included otherwise) BUT: PR.COM sends the release out with all links being nofollow! That makes it utterly worthless in terms of SEO. PR.COM strongly suggests using the extra service – paid hyperlinks – for SEO and never makes it clear they will do the links as nofollow.
All of the above examples are just a few; there are and can be other examples as well which fit the description of a press release. You just need to remember this that you should write a press release effectively to make it newsworthy for the purpose of involving media and your target audience.
The body of your press release should expand the content of the first paragraph. Each paragraph should be no more than 3 or 4 sentences. Break up the body accordingly, but make sure that each paragraph is cohesive and flows well from the preceding paragraph.
