fbi arizona press release new company launch press release

Press releases over the years have generally followed a standard format, including the same basic pieces of important information. And despite other changes to best practices, every press release still must include the following:
Conveyor Application Systems (www.slingers.com) is pleased to announce that the tier 4 engine conversion is complete and the first the new AT7 Tier 4 Slingers are rolling off the assembly line. – March 03, 2018 – Conveyor Application Systems
Press Release submission is one of the best off-page activities of SEO. There are many free press release submission sites which provide dofollow backlinks to your website which is very helpful in search engine optimization.
The press release should be accessible to non-expert readers. Try looking through published press releases for inspiration – archived press releases can be found at news services such as EurekAlert (http://www.eurekalert.org/) and AlphaGalileo (http://www.alphagalileo.org/) or on institutions’ and journals’ websites.
In your case, I would look at eRelease’s distribution list (Click “Where Does it Go?”) and see the list of publications they send to under the “Banking and Financial Services” category, or perhaps “Investments.”
I will help you find the best free press release services that will generate ongoing publicity for your business, new product or service…or whatever it is you need to promote to a global audience. Having worked in public relations and SEO marketing for more than a decade, I have handpicked the following free PR services that I use frequently—and repeatedly—for my business and clients. Why pay a service to distribute your press release when you can find free alternatives? The most successful companies, entrepreneurs and individuals all use press releases to grow their businesses, make more money, increase customers, boost website traffic, and/or brand themselves as a guru. Don’t you want to achieve the same amazing results? I am sure you do! That’s why this special Hub is for YOU!
As you write your press release, put yourself in the reader’s shoes. Try to visualize what would catch his or her attention, and what would be compelling or entertaining enough to make them want to keep reading.
Whenever you’re distributing a press release online, you also want to make sure that it is optimized for search engines. Choose a specific, long-tail keyword that direct extra traffic to your press release. You never know what journalists and bloggers might stumble upon your release just because you took this extra step.
The web is filled to the brim with static content. That’s bad news if you’re an up-and-coming business owner because there’s a never-ending sea of competition out there – and so if you want your brand to stand out, you’re going to have to move beyond that generic company blog and start making some real headlines.
Example: A home security company is launching a new website with improved useability and customized features. Since the news is general and not talking about a specific product or service, we’ll usually point the links back to the company’s home page.
“There aren’t really a prescriptive number of pages or word count.” If I may add one important aspect from journalism school 101: any article for a newspaper (and a press release ideally ends up as an article “as if” the journalist had written it him/herself) needs to be structured in such a way, that you can clip from the end (!!!) without it losing stringency and closure. That is entirely different from creative writing. “A Winter’s tale” or an Agatha Christie whodunit would lose much, if not all, of its charm if you left out the last, say, two, paragraphs! But since (in the olden days) a piece of journalism needed to fit in with the rest of the layout (including advertising and late breaking news), whoever redacted a piece had to be able to cut off bits and pieces at the end without having to read, let alone reformulate the rest of the article. That said, this rule still stands today though space is not always a bottleneck in the digital world (but – you never know, maybe your press release even makes it into the print version!). So train yourself to write like a (good) journalist. If you don’t you could wonder for years what made your press releases fall by the wayside time and again.
There are a few add-ons that most press release distribution services offer which are very worthwhile and that should be considered as part of your distribution strategy. The first is the SEO enhancement feature. By all means opt for do-follow hyperlinks. A few more high PR backlinks will never hurt your website.
WARNING: What I’m about to show you can be a very effective marketing tactic.  But in the wrong hands or done without taste can easily be spammy and crummy.  So, please use this knowledge for good and apply some of my Kindlepreneur principles as you step through this.
We wrote a press release called Yumbutter by the Numbers. There are multiple reasons as to why this press release was successful. We successfully demonstrated the brand’s fun and playful energy, while engaging consumers with informative but easy to read content.
Thanks for the great post. This is where many small businesses are missing out. They fail to understand that with a PR release they are losing out on the opportunity to create a web footprint which is capable of generating business from any location around the world.
As an additional note, even when you pay the high cost for a premium service, you may still not get the level of publicity that you want, which is why many people will research free press release distribution and free press release sites before investing in the high costs of a paid service.
The headline and subhead are the prime places to work in keywords that will help search engine optimization and draw traffic to your release once it’s online, says Leyl Master Black, managing director at San Francisco’s SparkPR, whose clients include Bing and Barclays.  For instance, she says, if you’re launching an e-commerce platform, you want the words e-commerce, platform, and software to appear in your headline and opening paragraphs several times.
And finally … aim high, but be realistic in your expectations. Most journalists are swamped with press releases, so it may take you a few attempts and a bit of chasing to land press coverage for your business. Don’t give up though; determination and a willingness to learn can take you a very long way.
To get a feel for which sites might be best for links, we could use how highly each press release page ranks in search results as a rough indicator of how much link juice that page might be able to pass. When one of our releases appeared on page one of Google web search (and the free release site provided a link) we rated that site highly for link building (note, this is a very simplistic approach, but good enough to get a feel for the sites; a more detailed analysis might give slightly different results).
State your case and do it quickly. Include a sentence or two about your news. What’s the name of the new album, what song is getting the most buzz, the name of the tour, if there is one, and any special guests or opening acts who will appear as part of the show. Paragraph two should have the brisk feeling of this paragraph.
Emphasize what makes your release important – What in your release is going to grab people’s attention? Why is it important to the community? Why should they care? Emphasize one or two of the basic elements above. For instance, if the mayor is going to speak on the issue at your event, it would be a good idea to emphasize the “who”. If your event is the first charity fund raiser at the new recreation center, the “where” would be emphasized.
The truth is, just because you wrote something (especially if it’s generic) and it gets placed on a lot of syndicates, doesn’t mean that people will purchase.  Exposure doesn’t mean sales.  Instead, you need to create a newsworthy PR that is not only unique but catchy too.
Consider expanded distribution to hit more major mediums, albeit at an increased cost. For example, if you are a multinational company, consider worldwide distribution with AP Newswire syndication. If you are a domestic company, target national regions to hit every major news medium in the continental U.S., as opposed to the limited newsfeeds that are in your set geo-region.
Now, press releases can include links, but they have to be coded as “no-follow” so that search engines know to ignore them. Therefore, using a press release will not directly provide any SEO benefits.
TV news viewers can often detect the use of VNRs within television newscasts; for example, many movie-star interviews are actually VNRs, taped on a set which is located at the movie studio and decorated with the movie’s logo. Another frequent example of VNRs masquerading as news footage is videotapes of particular medical breakthroughs, that are really produced and distributed by pharmaceutical companies for the purpose of selling new medicines.
Here’s a press release that was created for fitness expert Pauline Nordin. It starts with the most important information: a new app release, and follows with a reason why you should care (Nordin outsold famed fitness trainer Jillian Michaels). It was effective because it gave all of the facts and was easily quotable for journalists interested in the story.
“There are very positive steps being taken by the Zambian government to promote the agricultural market, with lower barriers to export and minimal intervention in the grain markets in 2017 and intentions to use market mechanisms to manage grain stocks in the future, are all welcome and must be… – March 03, 2018 – Agritech Expo Zambia
If you’re nervous about what you’ve got, do some research on what’s already out there. Someone probably wrote something on an event just like the one you’re covering. PR Web[1] and PR Newswire[2] are good places to start.
Write the body copy. The press release should be written as you want it to appear in a news story. And remember this: most journalists are very busy, and don’t have time to research your company’s big announcement, so much of what you write for your press release will be what the journalists use in their writeup of your big event. Whatever you want them to say, this is where you put it.
Be as concise as humanly possible so that you’re able to give readers a meaty chunk of what they’re about to eat without giving away all of the ingredients. From there, the paragraphs that follow should work like an inverted pyramid – expanding on the bullet points you’ve touched upon in your first line with bigger (but non-essential) facts. This is the time to present products specs or a few quirky tidbits from your survey. As you progress, try to keep your language snappy and mildly objective – because nobody wants to eat a dry piece of toast.
As we uploaded each release, we looked for ease of use, additional complementary services, paid-for upgrades and whether registration was required to use the service. Each release was amended slightly so that we could identify if it were covered by other sites we would be able to identify which source they had got it from.
For our press release, we decided to take a women in leadership angle. This is because we noticed a lot of buzz recently about women in leadership roles, which in the past was dominated by men. This approach worked well for us. We had our press release written about in over 30% of the outlets we sent the release to, including coverage in Talking New Media and Street Fight Mag.
Guidelines are outlined to both promote the release and gain visibility for a free PR, but guidelines can do much more than that. Free press release guidelines can help clients create a message that’s going to serve the needs of journalists, influencers, and other people who could pick the release up for publication.
